The two women were recruited to sell sex in Malmö and were promised the money that prostitution brought in.

But the women were not allowed to keep the money, despite the fact that they were allowed to receive up to ten sex buyers a day.

Three people have been prosecuted for human trafficking or aggravated procuring for cheating and exploiting the women.

A fourth person was charged with aggravated procuring.

Two of the accused are released.

This applies to a person who has been prosecuted for having lent his bank account and his apartment, as well as a person who was accused of having deposited his salary in the convicted woman's account.

Earned a million

The district court writes that there is strong evidence that supports the women's stories and believes that the convicted woman took advantage of their vulnerable situation and misled them to persuade them to prostitute themselves.

The sex trade that took place during the period June 2019 to May 2020 must have raised more than one million kronor.

The two convicted must also pay damages, the convicted woman must pay SEK 350,000 to the two women and the convicted man must pay SEK 40,000 to one of the women.

They are also deported from Sweden after serving their sentences.
