Berlin / Wiesbaden (dpa / lhe) - In Hesse, 832 new corona infections were registered within one day.
That was 127 more than on Monday, according to data from the Robert Koch Institute.
The number of those infected so far rose to 216 091. The number of people who died with or from a corona infection rose by 15 to 6,298. The incidence - the number of new cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the past seven Days - increased to 140.9.
The Hersfeld-Rotenburg district had the highest incidence.
There the value was 291.6.
In Offenbach, the incidence was second highest with a value of 259.4.
The city of Offenbach had reintroduced a night curfew on Monday in view of the high number of infections.
Only in four districts was the incidence below 100 - but that could change soon, as the value in Wiesbaden was already 99.1.
