There were no injuries, but, according to Sdis 31, several children were shocked.
Eight hundred teachers, staff and students were sheltered in a gymnasium on Tuesday, after the fire on a construction site in the Sainte-Thérèse school group, in Saint-Gaudens.
This private establishment welcomes children from kindergarten to high school, in the Haute-Garonne sub-prefecture.
The firefighters of @ sdis31officiel are engaged in a fire on a site inside the Ste Thérèse school group in St Gaudens.
Please avoid the area so as not to interfere with the emergency services.

About thirty firefighters intervened around 1:30 pm The fire allegedly started in a building under construction, at the level of the roof.
At least one explosion would have been heard.
According to the emergency services, it came from a gas cylinder, on which glowing tar from the roof fell.
The whole school group was evacuated.
By midday, the incident was under control, but the firefighters remained mobilized.
