In recent years, an intellectual subculture has established itself in parts of the public media, universities and non-governmental organizations, which tries to replace the achievements of the Enlightenment and social agreements with groupthink. The Basic Law and civic rights and duties that apply to everyone are increasingly being called into question. Demands for special treatment based on belonging to a certain group are made with increasing aggressiveness.
