North Korea condemns the UN meeting on North Korea’s missile test

According to a report by the Korean Central News Agency on the 29th, Cho Cheol-soo, director of the international organization of the North Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs, made a statement on the 28th, condemning the UN Security Council for holding a meeting on North Korea’s missile test.

The conversation stated that North Korea’s new tactical guided missile test on the 25th was to deter military threats to the Korean peninsula and maintain the country’s peace and prosperity.

However, the United States accused North Korea of its self-defense measures as "violating UN resolutions" at the private consultation meeting of the UN Security Council Sanctions Committee on the 26th urgently convened, and advocated "strengthening the implementation of sanctions" and "applying follow-up sanctions."

On the 30th, the United Nations decided to convene a private meeting of the United Nations Security Council involving the test firing of North Korea’s new tactical guided missiles based on the proposals of the United Kingdom, France and other countries.

According to the United Nations "resolution," the direct product of the US hostile policy towards North Korea, the accountability of the United Nations Security Council is purely a normal activity of North Korea's right to self-defense, and it is a serious ignorance and clear double standard for sovereign states.

The North Korean side strongly condemns the UN Security Council's meetings and investigations against North Korea.
