Erfurt (dpa / th) - Even at the beginning of the week, there was no improvement in Thuringia when looking at an important infection value in the corona pandemic.

With around 235 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days, according to data from the Berlin Robert Koch Institute (RKI), the Free State again had the highest incidence value nationwide on Monday.

Compared to Sunday (232), the so-called seven-day incidence increased slightly.

Saxony was the second most affected at the start of the week, with an incidence of 200.

Nationwide, the value was 134.

Also with a view to the incidence of the most battered district, Greiz, the situation has worsened significantly: There the incidence climbed from around 514 on Sunday to around 579 on Monday.

In Thuringia, the values ​​at the beginning of the week were also particularly high in the Wartburg district (around 429) and the Saale-Orla district (around 411).

Weimar had one of the lowest incidences at around 95.

There, the opening of the retail trade and museums for people with a negative Corona test result is to be tested from Monday to Wednesday with a model test.

The lowest value in Thuringia was in Nordhausen with around 76.
