A very specific parental bereavement leave.

The archipelago of Oceania is not the first country in the world to adopt such a measure, but New Zealand is however tackling a subject that is still taboo.

In this country of nearly 5 million inhabitants, couples will now be entitled to three days' leave in the event of miscarriage or the birth of a stillborn child.

“Some companies force employees to use their sick leave […].

It is cruel and it is badly, had notably denounced the deputy Ginny Andersen during the examination of the law in Parliament.

In France, leave is not systematic.

For a miscarriage occurring before 22 weeks of amenorrhea, the mother may be prescribed sick leave by her doctor, indicates the Health Insurance.

After the 22nd week, maternity leave is granted.
