Detmold (dpa / lnw) - A fire on a farm in Detmold (Lippe district) triggered a major fire brigade operation on Sunday evening.
The fire brigade announced that around 100 firefighters were alerted because the adjacent residential, business premises and stables were likely to result in a significant number of people and animals affected.
The fire that broke out in the workroom could, according to the information, be quickly brought under control.
Some of the advancing forces could therefore have broken off their journey.
How great the damage is and how the fire came about was initially not known.
