On January 4 this year, Yuanwang 5 rushed to the Pacific Ocean to start the new year's maiden voyage of the Yuanwang fleet. Since then, Yuanwang 5 has successively performed three maritime measurement and control missions.
Especially in the Long March 7A launch vehicle mission, scientific and technical personnel faced the "three new" challenges of new rockets, new sea areas, and new missions. They carefully carried out large-scale inspections of technical status, reliability inspections, and performance index tests for subsequent missions. A complete success has laid a solid foundation.

In the face of the adverse effects of tropical depression, Yuanwang No. 5 ship has organized several special meteorological consultations, conducted scientific analysis and judgment, and adjusted the sailing plan reasonably, effectively avoiding the strong wind and wave areas in the route, and ensuring safe and smooth mission preparation.
