  The US Federal Aviation Administration said on the 28th local time that the helicopter crashed 80 kilometers east of Anchorage at 6:35 pm on the 27th local time for unknown reasons.

Authorities said the crash site was near Nick Glacier.

  On the 28th local time, the Alaska Police said in a statement that on the night of the incident, a rescue team from the Alaska Rescue Coordination Center was dispatched to the crash site in the Nick Glacier area.

Five people were found dead upon arrival, and the only survivor was taken to the hospital.
