The European Union delegation to Myanmar issued a statement saying that "there is no excuse for killing unarmed civilians, especially children."

Thomas Baida, the US ambassador to Myanmar, criticized the Myanmar military, saying, "It is creepy to kill unarmed civilians, including children."

British Foreign Minister Dominique Rab also condemned the murder of civilians, including children, on Twitter, and stressed that he will "cooperate with international partners."
