Berlin (dpa / bb) - A girl was hit by a car in the Märkisches Viertel in Berlin and was seriously injured.
The nine-year-old ran onto the lane on Treuenbrietzener Strasse on Saturday afternoon, as the police announced on Sunday.
The child was hit by the car of a 32-year-old who was heading towards Wilhelmsruher Damm.
She was injured in the leg and was admitted to hospital on suspicion of a broken lower leg.
The exact course of the accident was initially unclear.
