First batch of COVID vaccines arrives in Kosovo

According to RIA Novosti, the first batch of vaccines since the beginning of the pandemic at Pristina airport was personally met by Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Minister of Health Arben Vitia.

24 thousand doses of AstraZeneca arrived, provided by UNICEF through the international COVAX program.

According to the Institute of Public Health in Kosovo, with a population of about 1.8 million people, 87,981 cases of COVID-19 were detected from the beginning of the pandemic to Sunday, of which 914 were in the previous day.

Earlier it was reported that Armenia purchased a batch of AstraZeneca vaccine.
