Mönchengladbach (dpa) - Borussia Mönchengladbach's football professional Jonas Hofmann does not expect to play in the Bundesliga game against SC Freiburg after his corona infection and the return home from the German national team.
"That will probably not work," said Hofmann the "picture" with a view to the game next Saturday.
"But I do a program at home to keep myself fit."
Furthermore, he has no symptoms, said the 28-year-old.
He is expected to be tested again on Monday.
Hofmann had left the selection of the German Football Association before the first World Cup qualifier against Iceland (3-0) because of a positive corona test and had to go into quarantine.
His contact person Marcel Halstenberg from RB Leipzig also had to sit out for the three international matches.
