Answer from Åsa Strömberg Head of Student Health

What does it look like with the spread of infection in schools and preschools in the municipality?

Right now I follow three units preschool / elementary school / high school with 2-10 diagnosed infected individuals.

The unit with 10 cases is one of our larger schools and the cases are spread throughout the business.

The principal's report indicates that they have been infected in various places from close relationships at home / in their free time.

We maintain a close dialogue with the infection control unit to make wise assessments in the business.

How are the operations affected?

The great impact in the business consists of anxiety and fatigue as a consequence of having worked with the impact in the business for a long time.

The margins are small.

However, we have operations that are relatively unaffected as well, which have survived both established infection and high absenteeism.

What does it look like with sick leave?

Sick leave does not stand out in its entirety compared to a normal year.

In places even lower than usual.

Last week we could see a small increase in student absenteeism compared to the weeks before.

Within Mjölby municipality, we continuously monitor the situation in our operations.
