Labor Party Central Committee Secretary Lee Byung-cheol, who is second in rank after General Secretary Kim Jong-un in the North Korean military sector, conducted a test launch of the North Korean version of the Iskander ballistic missile yesterday (25th). Announced.

Secretary Lee first stipulated that the launch of the ballistic missile is an act that belongs to the sovereign state's right to self-defense.

The U.S. could bring nuclear strategic assets into the Korean peninsula and fire up intercontinental ballistic missiles, and North Korea could not even test tactical weapons.

President Biden's criticism that the launch of a ballistic missile is a violation of the resolution of the UN Security Council was condemned as an outright violation and provocation of the right to self-defense.

Secretary Lee foretold additional military action, saying, "The new regime in the United States did the wrong start," and "we will face bad things."

The reaction of the international community is cold.

Foreign media reported that five European members of the UN Security Council, including Britain and France, have called for a closed meeting to discuss the issue of ballistic missiles in North Korea on the 30th.

The members of the Security Council, who expressed their concerns at a remote meeting of the North Korea Sanctions Committee yesterday, took action in earnest.

The ROK-US Department of Defense also reaffirmed the importance of US security pledges and trilateral cooperation between the United States and South Korea to deter and respond to North Korean threats through telephone consultations at the level of the director.
