[Explanation] The Fujian-Taiwan History and Culture Research Institute held an expert discussion meeting on the translation of Lianheng's "General History of Taiwan" into vernacular Chinese in Fuzhou on March 27, and officially launched the project of Lianheng's "General History of Taiwan" into vernacular Chinese.

The project is led by the Fujian-Taiwan History and Culture Research Institute, with the participation of experts and scholars from many universities in Fujian and Taiwan, including Xiamen University, Taiwan University, Fujian Normal University, and Taiwan Normal University.

From November 1920 to April 1921, "Taiwan General History" was published in Taiwan in three volumes, 1st, 2nd, and 2nd. The whole book is divided into 4 chronicles, 24 chronicles, and 60 biographies. There are 88 articles in 36 volumes, with approximately 600,000 words. , With 101 items attached, it is the first time to make a comprehensive and systematic summary of Taiwan’s history.
