China News Service, March 27. According to the website of the Guizhou Provincial Health Commission, on March 26, 2021, the Guizhou Provincial Health Commission received a report that the Baiyun District Hospital of Guiyang City detected one in the sample collected on March 25. A new coronavirus pneumonia virus nucleic acid was suspected to be positive, and the Provincial Health Commission, together with the provincial social prevention and control team and other relevant departments, immediately sent personnel to Baiyun District and the urban area to carry out joint investigation and disposal.

After three-level review by the Baiyun District CDC, Guiyang CDC, and Guizhou CDC, the nucleic acid test result was positive.

The relevant situation is as follows:

Li Moumou performed a new crown nucleic acid nasopharyngeal swab test at a South African hospital on January 4, 2021. The test result was positive on January 6, and was subsequently treated in isolation.

On February 1, Li was released from quarantine after the nucleic acid test result was negative. He returned to China from South Africa on February 24, and was quarantined after sunset in Shenzhen on February 25.

After 14 days of quarantine, he returned to Guizhou by flight CZ6372 from Shenzhen on March 11, and was picked up by community staff on March 12 to carry out home health monitoring.

During this period, his nucleic acid test result was negative on March 18.

On March 25, Li Moumou took another nucleic acid sample, and the test result showed a weak positive.

On March 26, after re-examination by Baiyun District Hospital, Baiyun District CDC, Guiyang CDC, and Guizhou CDC, the result of the review was positive.

After consultation with experts, Li Moumou was in the recovery period (nucleic acid positive) of asymptomatic infection (imported type) of the new coronavirus.

In accordance with the relevant regulations of Guizhou Province’s epidemic prevention and control work, Li Moumou was transferred to the Jiangjunshan Hospital of Guizhou Province on March 27.

It has now investigated 25 close contacts of the person in Guizhou Province, 32 close contacts, and expanded search of 272 people. All of them have implemented isolation control measures, and sampled and tested the patient's home environment and the surrounding environment of the place of residence.

In this regard, experts interpreted that the person who was imported from Guizhou Province and found in the asymptomatic infection of the new coronavirus in the recovery period (nucleic acid positive) was tested positive in South Africa on January 6, 2021, and the nucleic acid test was negative on February 1 After 4 nucleic acid tests in South Africa and 4 nucleic acid tests after returning to China, they were all negative. The current serum IgG antibody is positive, IgM is negative, and the new crown nucleic acid test is positive. There is no new crown-related clinical symptoms. The lung CT and blood routine are all normal.

After the consultation of the provincial expert group, it was diagnosed as: asymptomatic infection of the new coronavirus (imported type) recovery period (nucleic acid positive).

Experts say that there are three possibilities for a positive nucleic acid test for the new coronavirus during the recovery period: one is a false negative or false positive in the nucleic acid test; the second is that the virus in the body becomes active again; and the third is a re-infection.

According to expert research and judgment, this person belongs to the second situation.

Limited research suggests that such patients are not highly infectious, and no cases of transmission have been observed.

Experts pointed out that in the follow-up follow-up of patients with new coronary disease in my country, the proportion of nucleic acid positive again is about 5%.

Viral nucleic acid detection is the detection of virus fragments, and the detection of positive nucleic acid fragments does not mean that a live virus has been detected.

At present, there has not been any case in which people with positive nucleic acid tests during the convalescence period infect others and cause transmission in various parts of our country.

Experts believe that because most patients will produce antibodies after recovery, the IgG antibodies produced in the blood will increase, and the antibodies will have a protective effect on the human body. At this time, the virus in the body will lose activity and the risk of infection is also low.

Zhong Nanshan, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, once pointed out that most of the positive nucleic acid detections during the rehabilitation period should be the detection of viral nucleic acid fragments rather than the virus itself; Zhang Wenhong, director of the Department of Infectious Diseases, Huashan Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Fudan University, said that this situation does not have significant clinical significance. The epidemiological history will not cause a large-scale outbreak.

Experts said that for the person discovered in Guizhou Province, everyone should not panic. They should continue to maintain hygiene habits such as frequent hand washing, frequent ventilation, less gathering, and scientific wearing of masks, so as to prevent and control rumors and prevent them from spreading rumors.
