Martin Ziguélé and Karim Meckassoua, both presidential candidates in December, in the Central African Republic, are in turn prohibited from leaving the territory by the authorities.
They wanted to go to Niger for the inauguration of the new president, Mohamed Bazoum.

The authorities had demanded, Wednesday March 24, that the opponent Anicet Georges Dologuélé produce an authorization from the Ministry of Security before leaving the country, citing "
new measures
".
It is therefore to this ministry that Martin Ziguélé and Karim Meckassoua wrote.
Without his answer, the latter returns the ball to the judicial authorities by invoking "
the separation of powers
".

" for Martin Ziguélé who denounces a "
return of the arbitrary
" and a "
denial of rights
".
I want to know what are the provisions of the law that say I cannot go out.
If, by extraordinary a judicial procedure concerning me, I should be informed and even if there is a judicial procedure, it is the investigating judge in charge of the case who is authorized, in law, to take the decision of deprive me of my freedoms.
It is a return of arbitrariness and authoritarianism.
