The driver of the car increased the speed and the patrol that followed called for reinforcements.
The journey continued and shortly afterwards the car drove off the road and into a hedge at the intersection Idrottsvägen / Sturevägen.
Emergency services and an ambulance were called to the scene.
The driver, a man in his 20s, is said to have been injured according to the police.
It is unclear what injuries are involved.
The incident occurred at 7pm on Saturday night.
