• Economy: Calviño and Escrivá increase in rent and minimum income after leaving Iglesias

The Official State Gazette has published this Friday the mandatory declaration of assets of all the high positions of the Executive.

According to these data, the Minister of Universities, Manuel Castells, has assets valued at 5,058,219 euros.

He is followed by two ministers from the socialist wing of the Government: José Manuel Escrivá, Minister of Inclusion, Social Security and Migrations, who has declared 2,167,310 euros in assets, and Pedro Duque, Minister of Science and Innovation, who has a net worth of almost a million and a half euros: 1,434,165.

These figures are the sum of the various categories declared in the document: real estate, deposits in checking or savings accounts, shares.

and participations in the capital stock or in the patrimonial fund of negotiated legal entities, public debt, obligations, bonds, participations in capital stock or in own funds of non-negotiated legal entities, life insurance and pension plans, as well as other assets and economic content rights.

For his part, the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, has declared that he has 534,308.71 euros in equity, more than 180,000 of them in real estate - and about 161,000 correspond to debt.

The still second vice president, Pablo Iglesias, has a net worth of 771,036.75 euros, and the Minister of Equality, Irene Montero, of 861,126.32, of which 187,000 are destined to a pension or life insurance plan.

The members of the Council of Ministers who have declared the least assets are the person in charge of the Consumer portfolio, Alberto Garzón (287,614.2 euros), the spokesperson for the Executive and Minister of Finance, María Jesús Montero (244,633.5 euros), the Minister of Culture and Sports, José Manuel Rodríguez Uribes (147,000 euros), and the Minister of Labor, Yolanda Díaz (75,876.93 euros).
