Potsdam (dpa / bb) - Brandenburg may get stricter corona rules.

The cabinet is discussing today how the country will react to increasing numbers of infections.

Prime Minister Dietmar Woidke (SPD) said on Wednesday that the withdrawal of the latest easing would not be enough for the coming weeks.

The federal and state governments had agreed on additional measures in the event that the seven-day incidence in a state or region is over 100 for three consecutive days.

That was the case according to the figures from Thursday in seven districts and the city of Cottbus.

Exit restrictions and stricter contact restrictions or an extended obligation to take the corona rapid test, where the distance is more difficult, then come into question.

Model projects in the municipalities should allow leeway with corona tests and an app for contact tracking.
