Hanover (dpa / lni) - Green parliamentary group leader Julia Willie Hamburg has accused the Lower Saxony state government of being irresponsible in the Corona crisis.

State-supporting appeals and the hope that things will get better did not reduce the number of infections, said Hamburg on Friday in the state parliament in Hanover.

"Where is your more infection protection?" Called Hamburg Prime Minister Stephan Weil (SPD).

"You have to pull the emergency brake."

Instead, Weil is making empty promises and announcing model experiments to open up trade in high-incidence regions.

"You are asking for open perspectives, but why not lower the numbers first with a test offensive?"

"They are planning openings in model communities and have no plan B when the numbers pop up," said Hamburg.

The planned model tests with opening steps coupled with quick tests would lead to absurd conditions.

"Why can children in high-incidence communities go shopping in shopping malls in the future, but not to school?"
