A man was sentenced by the Montpellier Criminal Court (Hérault) to 24 months in prison, including 12 months with a probationary suspension, for drug trafficking.

Investigators had discovered, in particular, at his home more than 280 containers for narcotics and equipment for weighing.

The individual had admitted that he was involved in drug trafficking, in particular cannabis and cocaine, mainly in La Grande Motte.

It is a simple identity check, which led the investigators to discover this drug trafficking: the man had been checked by the gendarmes, on March 19, for not wearing a mask.

Narcotics, a tear gas canister and a knife, and more than a hundred euros had been found on him.
