President Moon Jae-in greeted the eight vice ministers.
Woo-ho Kim, Deputy Director of the Office of Human Resources Innovation, was appointed as the head of the Office of Human Resources Innovation, and Hong-taek Yong, head of the R&D policy department of the Ministry of Science and Technology and the second vice minister of the Ministry of Science and ICT, and assistant secretary for digital innovation at the Blue House, Cho Kyung-sik, respectively.
As Vice Minister of Unification, Choi Young-jun, head of the Unification Policy Division of the Ministry of Unification, Hwang Seong-gyu, a standing member of the Metropolitan Area Transportation Committee of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport as the 2nd Vice Minister of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, and Lim Jae-hyun, the head of the Ministry of Strategy and Finance, was appointed as the head of the Taxation Office of the Ministry of Strategy and Finance.
The Military Manpower Administration also appointed Jeong Seok-hwan, former head of the Defense Policy Office of the Ministry of National Defense, and Choi Byung-am, Deputy Chief of the Forest Service, as the head of the Korea Forest Service.
Blue House spokesman Kang Min-seok said, "It is a person to stabilize the organization through internal promotion and to strengthen the performance of state administration in the second half of the ruling period."
