On the 24th, the prosecutor’s lawyer representing the United States and the Canadian Ministry of Justice in the Meng Wanzhou extradition case continued to make statements to the court.

In the statement that day, when the judge asked to show relevant evidence, the prosecution lawyers repeatedly failed to produce evidence.

The prosecutor said that the Canadian Border Services Agency officials asked Meng Wanzhou to hand over the mobile phone and mobile phone password is in line with the regulations, but the prosecutor said it has not found the relevant terms.

At the same time, the prosecution provided a comment on the case, but the judge said that the comment on a case alone cannot support the prosecution’s argument, and the prosecution needs to provide more sufficient evidence.

The judge also asked the prosecutor to confirm that there was no prior conspiracy between Canadian law enforcement agencies and the FBI.

The prosecution did not give convincing answers or evidence in court for many of the judges’ questions.

Headquarters reporter Zhang Sen:

In the court hearings in the last two days, the judges' questions have increased significantly.

The judge mainly asked them whether they had relevant evidence to support some of the views put forward by the prosecution lawyers.

But in many cases, the prosecution’s lawyer’s answer is that there is no evidence, or the evidence has to be submitted later.
