France has 93,378 dead Thursday due to Covid-19 since the start of the epidemic in the country.

The figure in intensive care has been rising steadily since the lowest recorded on January 7 (2,573 patients).

It reached 4,709 Thursday against 4,651 the day before, and progresses towards the record of the second wave which was 4,903 on November 16.

The still very tense situation in hospitals

During the last 24 hours, 408 patients entered intensive care against 384 the day before.

The total number of people hospitalized in France with a positive Covid-19 diagnosis stands at 27,036, with 1,860 new admissions in the last 24 hours.

A total of 225 people have died in the past 24 hours in hospital, bringing the number of deaths since the start of the epidemic to 93,378 in France.
