The Oder-Spree district announced on Thursday that a “double-digit” number of employees was infected with the corona virus.
The responsible health department is therefore in close contact with Tesla.

It was to be expected that one of the largest construction sites in Germany would not be left out in a pandemic that was just accelerating again, said a spokesman for the district.
According to an industry insider, Tesla has set up its own test center on the construction site and carries out regular employee tests there.
In addition, there are extensive safety and hygiene measures.
According to dpa information, the number of employees is in the “low four-digit” range.
According to previous plans, Tesla wants to start producing vehicles in the car factory near Berlin in July.
In the first phase, up to 500,000 cars per year are planned.
According to the Ministry of the Environment, the final environmental approval is still in progress.
