“We understand that there may be areas where, based on mutual interests, we can still work together,” Blinken said.

According to him, Russia and the United States can find ways to work together on the issue of arms control.

“But that will not prevent us from acting together with our allies in a united and decisive manner when Russia is acting aggressively,” the US Secretary of State added.

Blinken said earlier that NATO and the United States have confirmed their interest in a dialogue with Russia on strategic stability.
