Lüneburg (dpa / lni) - The SVG Lüneburg volleyball players missed the playoff finals for the German championship.

The Lower Saxony also lost the second semi-final game against record champions VfB Friedrichshafen with 2: 3 (20:25, 26:24, 20:25, 25:18, 11:15) on Thursday evening.

The first game on Lake Constance ended from Lüneburg's point of view after a 2-0 set lead also 2: 3.

The final opponent of the 13-time title holder will be determined on Saturday in a third game between the SWD Powervolleys Düren and the defending champions Berlin Recycling Volleys.
