Berlin (dpa) - Former national soccer striker Sandro Wagner will be coach of the U19s at SpVgg Unterhaching in the coming season, according to a "picture" report.
The current leader of the A-Junior Bayern League will be Wagner's first head coach station, wrote the "Bild" on Wednesday evening.
The 33-year-old received a two-year contract with the Munich suburb club.
Wagner is currently working in the coaching team of the German U16 team.
In August 2020, the former Munich and Hoffenheim Bundesliga striker declared his playing career over after a few months in China.
He has been working as an expert at the paid streaming service DAZN since September.
