A 28-year-old man, living in Vénissieux near Lyon (Rhône) was arrested Tuesday at the Portes du Sud hospital after savagely assaulting two nursing staff.

The individual accompanied his mother who had come to take exams, Lyon police reported on Wednesday.

Tired of having to wait, he ended up entering the nurses' cubicle to strike a woman first.

The victim also underwent six days of ITT, we learn from the Sûreté du Rhône.

Then he attacked one of his colleagues (one day from ITT).

Both have filed a complaint.

The man was arrested on the spot before being taken into custody.

Already known to the police, he downplayed the facts by only acknowledging the nurse's assault.

He was to be tried this Wednesday afternoon in immediate appearance for aggravated violence.
