Munich (dpa / lby) - According to the Greens, the situation of children must have the highest priority in the state government's current Corona strategy.

"Children are not just little adults," said the Greens parliamentary group leader Ludwig Hartmann on Wednesday in the Bavarian state parliament in Munich.

The lockdown has taken children away from their social contacts at school and with their friends, which is why they suffer more than average from the pandemic.

The aim of crisis management must therefore be to enable more face-to-face teaching again after the Easter break.

"That is only possible with a good protection and a good test concept," emphasized Hartmann.

In crisis management, clear priorities in favor of children with long-term prospects are needed in order to get out of the crisis.

The Corona plan in Bavaria provides that schools and daycare centers are subject to new rules after the Easter holidays.

If the incidence value is below 50, all primary school classes should receive face-to-face tuition.

Between 50 and 100 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within one week, there is alternating instruction for all age groups.

If the value is over 100, distance teaching generally applies - but with exceptions.

In the final grades as well as in the fourth grade of elementary school and grade 11 at grammar schools, technical colleges and vocational colleges, alternating lessons can then take place.
