Holiday jobs, which are the municipality's way of giving young people work experience and letting them test on certain shortcomings, are an important tool according to the municipality.
- We have shortages in, for example, health and care administration and in business it is in industry, says Valmir Jusufi.
More places than usual
Last year, 925 young people got to try out for work, which was a record number.
Also this year, more young people than usual will be given the chance to work in the summer, but there will not be as many as last year.

Flexibility of administrations
When we look back at last year, we can see that the number of places dropped drastically in the health and care administration, while the labor market administration saw the largest increase.
This year, the municipality monitors the development of the pandemic but wants to be able to offer places in the care and welfare administration.
- The places in the care and welfare administration disappeared last year, but we intend to offer places in 2021, says Valmir Jusufi.
