In the inter-company restaurant of the Egée Tower, in La Défense, the new protocol for meals in the canteen has been in place since Wednesday noon.

For better more against the Covid-19, the system of packed lunches is to be privileged but if this is not possible, a distance of two meters must be imperatively respected with the colleagues and the lunch opposite is prohibited.

"I eat alone, like an unhappy woman"

In the restaurant of the Aegean Tower, the employees try as best they can to sit down together.

"Instead of looking for a table, we look for four to recreate the conviviality", explains Paul.

Except that this technique does not always work.

"With the new health redictions, I was separated from my colleagues and I eat alone like an unhappy woman," sighs Emmanuelle.

Even if it means eating alone, some prefer to have lunch at their desk thanks to packed lunches.

"This offer is aimed at people who want to limit their points of contact and eat in their office or on the forecourt of La Défense", explains Patrick Boisseau, market director at Elior, which manages this company canteen. .
