Munich (AP) - The soccer players of FC Bayern can plan for the semi-finals of the Champions League.
Coach Jens Scheuer's team defeated Swedish record champions FC Rosengard from Malmö 3-0 (2-0) in the quarter-final first leg on Wednesday evening and celebrated their 24th victory in the 24th competitive game of the season.
Linda Dallmann (9th minute) and Klara Bühl (28th) scored for the sovereign Munich team in the first half.
After the break, the Dutch Lineth Beerensteyn (65th) increased with an energetic performance and gave FC Bayern an excellent starting position at home for the second leg on April 1st in Sweden.
Shortly before the final whistle, goalkeeper Laura Benkarth (86.) thwarted a huge chance for Sanne Troelsgaard.
