  The People’s Procuratorate of Jiuquan City accused Li Yanlong from 2004 to 2019 as the county magistrate and secretary of the county party committee of Yongdeng County, Lanzhou City, secretary of the Party Working Committee of Lanzhou High-tech Industrial Development Zone, and vice chairman of the 14th CPPCC Lanzhou Committee. Convenience in his position, he has repeatedly sought benefits for others in business operations, project contracting, project approval, fund settlement, land use rights transfer, employment placement, etc., and obtained and received other people’s property equivalent to RMB 500,022,98,382.

He is requested to be held criminally responsible for accepting bribes.

Li Yanlong said in the court, "Money ruins my dignity and honor, and greed is doomed to fail in life."

  Li Yanlong, male, Han nationality, born in September 1959 in Baiyin City, Gansu Province, college degree, started work in September 1978, and joined the Communist Party of China in November 1987.

  He used to serve as Secretary of the Party Working Committee (Deputy Director-level) of the Lanzhou High-tech Industrial Development Zone, and vice chairman of the Lanzhou Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. He retired in December 2019 and was declared under investigation in June 2020.
