Cologne / Siegburg (dpa / lnw) - Special police forces arrested a man in Siegburg near Bonn on Wednesday who is said to have been involved in an attempted homicide in Benidorm, Spain, in 2018.
In addition, he was accused of bodily harm, a spokeswoman for the attorney general in Cologne confirmed on Wednesday.

The man had been wanted by the Spanish police with a European arrest warrant, the authorities in Spain applied for extradition.
The suspect, who also has German citizenship, will now be brought before the investigating judge.
According to the public prosecutor's spokeswoman, he will most likely be arrested afterwards.
