Dresden (dpa / mv) - League leaders Dynamo Dresden can possibly rely on their best offensive player in the top game of the 3rd football league against Hansa Rostock.

As the club announced on Wednesday, Christoph Daferner suffered only a sprained ankle and a stretched ligament on Monday evening at TSV 1860 Munich.

“There was a lot of rattling in my ankle in the scene that led to my replacement a little later.

I'm glad that the first diagnosis doesn't mean a more serious injury, »said Daferner.

He could now use the international break to heal the injury.

The 23-year-old Daferner scored eleven goals and prepared seven goals in 31 competitive games this season.

League leader Dresden welcomes rival Rostock on Easter Sunday.

After the defeat in 1860, Dynamo is only one point ahead of the North Germans.
