Gera / Neustadt an der Orla (dpa / th) - A 43-year-old has to answer for murder and dangerous bodily harm from today's Tuesday before the Gera district court.
The man from Neustadt an der Orla (Saale-Orla district) is accused of brutally beating his girlfriend to death in June 2020.
According to the indictment, the German is said to have recognized the life-threatening condition of the woman, but only called the emergency services when he could no longer notice his breath or pulse.
Half a year earlier, he is said to have attacked the woman's arms with an ax.
