Rösrath (dpa / lnw) - With a beer in hand, an obviously drunk electric wheelchair user from Rösrath (Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis) got into a police check.
Officials stopped the 45-year-old on a street on Monday afternoon and were surprised: The man admitted that he did not need the wheelchair and only used it because he no longer had a driver's license and did not want to walk.
As it turned out, he had consumed marijuana in addition to alcohol, the police said on Tuesday.
In addition, he was in a wheelchair without valid insurance and received another report for this.
