Electoral samples after the closure of Israeli polling stations on Tuesday evening showed the lead of the right-wing Likud party led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, as it is likely to win 31 to 33 Knesset seats.

The director of Al-Jazeera’s office in Palestine, Walid Al-Omari, said that the indicators contained in 3 election samples published by Israeli television showed that the "There is a future" party came second with 16 to 18 seats out of a total of 120 seats in the Knesset.

Al-Omari pointed out that the samples had preferred the Arab Joint List to win 8 to 9 seats, which represented a significant decline in Arab representation after the list had 15 seats in the previous elections.
