Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - The seven-day incidence of the corona pandemic in Baden-Württemberg has fallen slightly again.

According to the State Health Office, the value fell on Tuesday (as of 4:00 p.m.) to 101.9 (previous day: 103) and is thus still above the important threshold of 100 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days.

From this value, the so-called emergency brake applies nationwide in the districts.

Compared to Monday, the authority recorded new cases of corona infection in 1985.

The number of confirmed cases since the beginning of the pandemic rose to 346,765. There were 18 new deaths in connection with the virus - so there are now 8,568 corona deaths.

Furthermore, all 44 urban and rural districts in the southwest have an incidence value above 50. The Hohenlohe district (213.9) and Schwäbisch Hall (353.2) form the top with the nationwide strongest infection rate.
