Kiel (dpa / lno) - The sickness rate of employees in Schleswig-Holstein fell slightly in the past year.

As the health insurance company Barmer announced on Tuesday on the basis of the sickness reports of their insured persons, it was 4.96 percent after 5.08 percent in 2019. Nationwide, the sick leave fell from 4.99 percent (2019) to 4.92 percent (2020) .

Insured persons must send a certificate of incapacity to work to their health insurance company if they are absent for more than three days.
