Magdeburg (dpa / sa) - Saxony-Anhalt wants to enable nationwide corona tests in the future.

The state chancellery in Magdeburg announced on Tuesday that the state's test concept had been updated in accordance with the federal ordinance.

Accordingly, everyone is entitled to at least one free rapid test.

This claim has been included in the country's concept.

According to the information, people can be tested “by doctors and dentists, in medical and dental facilities, in medical laboratories and pharmacies, by rescue and aid organizations and other service providers commissioned by the health authorities”.

If a rapid test is positive, follow a PCR test.

In addition, Saxony-Anhalt has concluded a framework agreement with the state pharmacists' association, it said.

In this way, rapid tests should be made possible across the board.

The country has also ordered rapid tests for teachers, educators, daycare children and students.

From April onwards, voluntary tests should be possible twice a week.
