After a preliminary investigation with, among other things, a trace from Liljansberget to Mariehem, mobile emptying and interrogation, the attempted murder on Liljansberget in Umeå is now being rolled up.

The woman had, according to the prosecutor, settled a drug deal via the encrypted app Wickr with the later stabbed man who is in his 25s.

But she and the man did not intend to pay for the drugs, but had instead planned to rob him, prosecutor Petra Hedberg says.

In connection with the robbery, the man is said to have stabbed the other man in the chest.

- I called for help and then there was a neighbor there who heard me and called an ambulance, says the stabbed man in the interrogations.

The stabbed man survived, much thanks to the fact that he received care quickly.

The doctor who operated on him states that he would probably have died if he had not received treatment within 30 minutes.

Both are charged with attempted murder

The prosecutor chooses to prosecute both the man and the woman for attempted murder because they are said to have planned the robbery together.

They are prosecuted in the alternative for aggravated assault and aggravated arbitrary conduct.

Both have admitted that they planned to rob the man, but deny the attempted murder.

A friend of theirs, who was then 17 years old, is charged with aiding and abetting a grossly arbitrary proceeding, according to the prosecutor, he must have been involved in planning the robbery.

He must also provide the man and the woman with a knife.
