Munich (AP) - The basketball players from Syntainics MBC could not stop the triumphant advance of FC Bayern Munich.

The Weißenfelser lost their Bundesliga guest appearance at the title contender 66:85 (32:38) on Tuesday evening, but offered at least 30 minutes a convincing performance.

While Bayern climbed to second place with their seventh success in a row, the Central Germans suffered their fourth defeat in a row.

Nevertheless, the Weißenfelser still have six points ahead of the relegation zone.

Dennis Jerome Seeley (19), Nick Weiler-Babb (17) and Jalen Reynolds (14) had the largest share in Munich's success.

Quinton Hooker (20), Michal Michalak (13) and Roko Rogic (10) scored the most points for the MBC.

The guests did not let themselves be disturbed by their false start (13: 28/14.) And stood up to the favorites for a long time.

In the 28th minute, the outsider was even ahead with 53:50.

But in the last quarter the home side got serious and decided the game within three minutes with a 14-0 run from 61:57 (32nd) to 75:57 in their favor.

The guests broke in in the last ten minutes (11:26).
