Hungarian Health Director Cecilia Muller is convinced that a greater choice of vaccines available will improve the situation.
To date, 16% of the population has already received a first dose, a rate well above the EU average.
Since February, in addition to vaccines approved by the European Medicines Agency, Hungarians can be administered Russian Sputnik V or serum from the Chinese laboratory Sinopharm.
To speed up the process, the Hungarian government adopted a decree in January allowing the approval of any vaccine that has already been received by more than a million people or approved by another "

Hospitalization rates are at record levels.
The

reports that some establishments are so overwhelmed by the influx of patients that they appeal to all people to come and help them, even without experience.
