Frankfurt / Main (dpa) - The airlines are waiting for details on the corona tests that they are supposed to offer Mallorca tourists before they return to Germany.

The exact form of the announced regulation is required for further planning, it was said on Tuesday by the vacation flyers Condor and Tuifly after an announcement by the Prime Minister's Conference.

The tests are basically on the right track because they would prevent quarantines when returning from vacation, said a Condor spokeswoman.

The other providers will also be able to agree on the exact design of the test regime.

Both airlines also announced that they would no longer plan any additional flights over the Easter holidays.

That was what the federal and state governments demanded.

A week ago, the federal government removed the Germans' favorite island from the list of risk areas and lifted the travel warning due to the sharp drop in infection rates.

This also means that there is no longer any obligation to test or quarantine for returnees.

This has led to a booking boom, but also to heated discussions about whether you are risking a new source of infection.
