Potsdam (dpa / bb) - Trucks are still allowed to drive through Brandenburg on Sundays and public holidays.

The exception regulation came into force in March of last year and is now to apply until the end of June, as announced by the Brandenburg Ministry of Infrastructure and State Planning.

According to the information on Monday, the exemption was also extended to the transport of all goods - previously only trucks that had loaded special goods were exempt from driving bans on Sundays and public holidays.

The exemption is intended to guarantee that supply chains remain efficient and stable.
